If you're a complete beginner we will ensure that you understand the process. Furthermore, we will show what tools, databases and records are available to assist you in your research. You will learn how to access and use them.

In addition, you will learn how to avoid common pitfalls and ensure that your research is accurate.

Everything will be explained and demonstrated clearly, and we will move at a pace that suits you.

For beginners, we recommend 'Ancestry' as the on-line research site of choice. A free 14 day trial subscription is available via the affiliate link below.

How We Work
Our Family Tree Coaching & Tuition is delivered by a professional genealogist and is available in 2 hour blocks (£30/hr), purchased in advance. We are extremely flexible and you can vary the duration and book appointments to suit your needs and schedule.

We deliver our coaching and tuition via Zoom Video Conferencing in the comfort of your own home. Zoom is FREE and easy to set-up. It only requires a click of a link (sent by tutor) to install on your computer or tablet. If you live in the Tyne and Wear area we may be able to offer face to face tuition. Please contact us to discuss.
Payment
Payment may be made in GB Pounds sterling by bank transfer, debit/credit card or via PayPal.
